Installing & Uninstalling

To install CustomMailer under Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, or XP:
- Download the CustomMailerSetup40.EXE installation program from
the Wildcrest Associates web site (http://www.wildcrest.com).
- Double-click CustomMailerSetup40.EXE and let our user-friendly
wizard guide you through the installation process.
- Run CustomMailer by selecting CustomMailer from the Windows Start
menu or double-click the CustomMailer icon on your desktop.
- The SMTP Setup Wizard will automatically run the first time to
help you set up your SMTP mail server name.
- If you have purchased CustomMailer, go to the Help menu, select
About CustomMailer, and click on Enter Registration to bring up the registration
screen. Enter the registration information provided with your purchase
(name, organization, serial number). The registration button will
not be enabled until you type in the proper serial number (hyphens and capital
letters not required).
- If you have not registered, you will be running the Free Trial
Version which lets you try out CustomMailer for free, with a limit of sending
20 emails per run.
To uninstall CustomMailer:
You can either:
- Go to the Windows Control Panel folder
- Double-click "Add/Remove Programs"
- Select "CustomMailer 4.0 by Wildcrest Associates"
- Hit the Add/Remove button.
or:
- Go to the Windows Start menu
- Select "Programs"
- Select "CustomMailer 4.0 by Wildcrest Associates"
- Select "Uninstall CustomMailer"
